Using “Pirilimpimpim, Vossuncê, Vosmecê” [Vossuncê and Vosmecê are now archaic, restricted terms meaning “your mercy” used as a polite form of “you”], Monteiro Lobato writes and tells us about the Brazilian popular culture, with its habits and beliefs. Through the project LOBATO NA TOCA DA RAPOSA crianças, children, youths and adults are entertained and they recover the knowledge which enriches so much everybody´s imagination.
With Boi Bumbá (Ox-Boombah), Catirina and the Cabeções do Nordeste, Cascudo Chamber and others who helped disseminating the Brazilian Culture, they are given life with his explored works, experienced and sung in the Project FOLCLORE NA TOCA DA RAPOSA, delighting those who begin to share the new stories with the family and friends, thus, perpetuating the popular culture of our country.
